Us

Here's a little peek behind the computer.  Spring started early in the south and we've been enjoying the warmth.  Our garden has grown and we've been enjoying lettuce and radishes every day.  Scott calls this his "therapy."  I am glad his therapy tastes so good.

Vivian seems way too sophisticated these days.

She's learning to swim.

And she'd giving me lots of fashion tips.

Like the lipstick she gave me?

This is my stack.

Scott was jealous so he went out and got a stack of his own.  His stack is a lot more serious than mine.

When I was a kid I asked my mom why she never read.  She said it was because she fell asleep.  I'm growing more like her every day.

Scott was given a free pairs of TOMS to give to me.  I feel a wee bit hypocritical wearing them.  Dumping a bunch of free footwear into impoverished countries doesn't do a lot of good to their struggling economy. (Just Google "TOMS Shoes problems" to see what I'm talking about it.)  But they are cute, comfy and free so I am choosing not to be too high and mighty about it.

The above photos are glimpses of us, but they're just the fluff.  There is a lot of challenging stuff happening right now.  Stuff I am really excited about.  Stuff that troubles me.  So much to praise God for and so much to pray for. But I have great faith and hope.  And I also have a short spot of sunshine willing to remind me of these things in the most delightful (and dramatic ways.)
