I wanted to let everyone know that the Grinch didn't manage to steal the Laslo Christmas this year. It was VERY laid back, but this bactrian camel found the extra bit of inspiration needed to pull together a simple...but very special Christmas.

Our beautiful, one-of-a-kind Ugandan nativity. We've never seen another like it! Our daughter, Vivian, likes to talk to baby Jesus, Mary and Jophus (that's what she calls him).

Yes, that's a Christmas tree in our house! It isn't the live 8' fir that usually graces our home, but last week when Scott suggested we use one of the little fake 6 foot trees left over from
Ornaments4Orphans I said
Why not!? Seeing the pure excitement and joy Vivian took in the tree really lifted our spirits and helped renew some of the wonder of Christmas in our weary hearts.

I hope and pray each of you enjoyed a blessed and joyful Christmas Day celebrating with loved ones and reflecting on the greatest gift: the humble baby born to redeem.
