This DVD slideshow showcases the beautiful children and work being done at Ranch on Jesus Orphanage Ministries in Uganda. The majority of these photos were taken on our 2008 summer trip. The music in the background is from the Set Free Band, the children's choir at Ranch on Jesus. It is an original song performed enthusiastically by the kids.

It has been the desire of my heart for some time to have a venue in which to share the joys, triumphs, as well as heartaches and pains that come with being in our Father's business of caring for orphans. I hope this blog can be a place where brothers and sisters in Christ will be encouraged by stories of hope and challenged in their faith. In my desire to love my children in Uganda as Jesus does I have faced internal and external obstacles, ethical choices, confusing ideology and emotional turmoil. Jesus' simple call to welcome little children in His Name is often more complicated than it first appears. However, the command is the same, our Savior's heart is clear, and while my efforts to follow his desire are feeble, He has given me His heart of love for the children of Ranch on Jesus and I seek to serve them as He enables. I pray His heart will stir yours as well, for we "were all by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even whe nwe were dead in our trespasses, made us alive with Christ-by grace you have been saved" (Ephesians 2:3-4).
